Taylor Yanchar gives Western Carolina a high-efficiency interior option
Yanchar is a **6'11" center** whose current production is modest but efficient, averaging **2.2 points** and **1.2 rebounds** while shooting **66.7%** from the field, which points to a simple, low-mistake role as a finisher and interior presence.[2][6] The main draw is his size and rim-level footprint rather than volume scoring, so he profiles as a fit for teams that value spacing, screening, and paint defense over a feature-backcourt offense.[2][5] Public roster and stat pages provide limited detail on injuries, personality, or advanced impact, so the strongest evidence is his height, position, and efficient shot profile.[2][3][6]
