Lauren Fiola was a sturdy, team-first forward for UMass Lowell
Lauren Fiola’s profile with UMass Lowell shows a 5-11 forward who brought size, effort, and a reliable role-player mindset to the River Hawks, including averaging 2.9 points per game as a junior in the 2013-14 season and appearing in all 27 games with 10 starts. Her value was in the gritty stuff: physical rebounding, positional versatility, and a willingness to do the unglamorous work that keeps a lineup connected. She looks like the kind of player coaches trust for toughness and system fit, even if she is not a volume scorer.
