Ben Slaton brings guard savvy and a proven development track record to Butler
Ben Slaton is a Butler guard whose value profile reads more like a floor general and connector than a headline-chasing scorer: ESPN lists him as a Bulldogs guard, and his background includes coaching and player-development experience at SPIRE Academy, where he helped mentor younger teams and oversee growth-focused environments. Reliable, detail-oriented guards like Slaton often stand out for organization, toughness, and basketball IQ rather than flashy box scores, making him an interesting fit for teams that need steadiness, leadership, and a player who understands the game from both sides of the whistle.
