Brian Coffey II brings steady guard play and shot-making upside
Brian Coffey II is a seasoned, defense-conscious guard who has already shown he can run an offense, space the floor, and handle starter-level minutes. In the 2022-23 season at Clayton State, he averaged 11.8 points, 4.0 assists, and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 37.0% from three and starting 22 of 23 games, which points to a dependable all-around creator rather than a pure score-first guard. His value is the combo of poise, playmaking, and perimeter touch—good fit material for a team that wants a mature backcourt piece who can organize, compete, and make winning plays.
