Hampton McConnell brings proven Georgia Southern depth with playmaking upside
McConnell is a former West Forsyth offensive standout who earned local offensive player-of-the-year honors, signaling a receiver with real playmaking polish and competitive edge before arriving at Georgia Southern.[1] The biggest reason to care is his profile as a likely high-effort, technically sound WR who already showed he can separate, produce, and handle spotlight expectations; the tradeoff is that public college production data is still limited, so his value hinges on how quickly that high-school success translates to the Eagles’ system.[1][18]
