Caleb Auer brings veteran, trench-built depth to Furman’s defensive front
Caleb Auer is a long, seasoned Furman defensive tackle whose value comes from experience, size, and steady rotational work rather than splashy headline numbers. Furman’s roster and historical notes list him at 6-3, 266 pounds, and he previously saw action in seven games while logging 57 plays, which points to a player trusted to handle interior snaps and do the dirty work inside. He’s the kind of sturdy, assignment-sound DT coaches like when they want gap integrity, physicality, and a mature presence in the room.
