Lafayette’s disruptive interior defender with room to rise
Chris Brungo is a Lafayette DL whose value lies in interior toughness, leverage, and the kind of physicality that can muddy up run games and create favorable down-and-distance situations. I could not verify reliable public stat lines or ranking data in the provided results, so the cleanest read is that he profiles as a trench player whose appeal would come from effort, strength, and role-specific disruption rather than box-score flash. If you need a hard-nosed, scheme-fit defensive lineman who can anchor and compete snap after snap, he’s worth a look.
