Jason Vera gives FAU a high-motor, multi-sport spark at linebacker
Jason Vera is a junior linebacker for Florida Atlantic whose calling card is intensity: reliable effort, active play style, and the kind of multi-sport athletic background that often shows up in range and movement skills. A recent roster listing also notes he is still part of FAU’s linebacker group in 2026, which makes him a name to watch for rotational upside and special-teams value. He looks like the sort of player who can fit a defense that prizes energy, chase speed, and toughness over flash.
