Christian Hernandez brings veteran size, steady defense, and team-first poise to USF
Christian Hernandez is a 6-5 guard with veteran experience at San Francisco, and the clearest stat-backed differentiator from his earlier USF career was versatility: in the 2007-08 season he averaged 2.1 points, 0.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 0.5 steals while knocking down 14 threes and making clutch winning plays, including late free throws at Pepperdine. His value is less about box-score volume and more about steadiness, defensive activity, and shooting gravity from the perimeter. If you need a disciplined, low-mistake guard who understands role acceptance and can fit into a team structure, he makes sense.
