instinctive, high-motor linebacker who brings real playmaking juice to Marshall
Beckett stood out at Marshall as a disruptive, downhill linebacker with production that went beyond tackle volume: in 2020 he logged 121 total tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, a pick, 4 pass breakups, and 2 fumble recoveries, signaling range, violence at the point of attack, and ball skills[7][2]. At 5-11 and about 220 pounds, he projects as an undersized but active defender whose best fit is a defense that values urgency, pursuit, and a linebacker who can trigger fast and make plays in space[1][9].
