Ball State’s Matt Fox brings disruptive edge-setting potential off the edge
Matt Fox is a **2-star defensive end** from Lakota West who committed to Ball State, and his profile points to a tough, physical edge defender with the kind of motor that can earn snaps early. In Ball State’s roster notes, Fox is tied to a productive stretch that included **35 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery**, highlighting real backfield disruption rather than just steady gap control. The appeal here is a high-effort, pressure-first defender who can fit a program looking for hunger, violence, and playmaking upside.
