Delaware State’s hard-nosed tackle who piled up tackles like a linebacker
Andre Caroll was a force for Delaware State on the defensive line, earning 2010 SportsNetwork FCS All-America Third Team honors after ranking fifth in the MEAC in tackles and setting a school single-season record for a lineman with 96 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks in the 2010 season. The standout trait: disruptive, high-motor interior play that showed up in the box score and the run game, plus enough stamina to be a weekly problem for offenses. He looks like the kind of tough, productive DL coaches trust when they want punch, pursuit, and consistency.
