experienced South Alabama safety with proven football IQ and veteran grit
Kwameh Lewis is a veteran South Alabama safety whose biggest edge is feel for the game: he made the move from cornerback to safety, a switch that gave him a broader field view and more communication responsibility. South Alabama listed him as part of its 2022 defensive-backs rotation, and his draft-profile bio described him as goal-oriented and resilient. His athletic testing, however, was modest in 2022, so his value is less about explosive measurables and more about experience, intelligence, and reliability. He looks like a fit for a team needing maturity and steady back-end leadership, not a raw upside bet.
