a veteran Santa Clara guard with deep-school roots
Emily Richard is listed on Santa Clara’s women’s basketball roster, but the search results did not surface current 2025-26 stat leaders, rankings, or recent game logs for her, so her present production can’t be verified here. The clearest takeaway is that she profiles as a program-connected guard with long-term Santa Clara ties, which usually signals fit, familiarity, and coach-trust over flash. For a team, the appeal would be steadiness and role acceptance; the missing piece is up-to-date evidence on shooting, playmaking, or defensive impact.
