Kirven flashed run support and playmaking before his UH departure
In the 2019 season, Zamar Kirven was a useful Houston linebacker who played in eight games and made five starts at WILL, finishing with 28 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and one interception. His best trait was versatility in space: he showed up around the ball, added a pass breakup, a fumble recovery and a QB hurry, and brought a sturdy 6-3, 205-pound frame to the position. The big caveat is that his Houston career ended after 2020, so this is not a current Cougars fit; his profile is more of a past production-and-potential story than an active roster evaluation.
