Babineaux is a steady, active linebacker with real game experience for Southeastern Louisiana
Damon Babineaux enters 2026 as a junior linebacker for Southeastern Louisiana with a track record of availability and role continuity, appearing in 9 games in both the 2023 and 2024 seasons for 18 career games[1]. The standout trait here is reliability: he’s been on the field, learning the defense, and giving the Lions depth at a physical, contact-heavy position[1]. Publicly available current stat detail is limited, so the best read is that Babineaux looks like a dependable fit for a team valuing toughness, consistency, and special-teams/rotation utility over flash[1].
