physical, downhill linebacker with special teams upside
Wheeler profiles as a rugged, assignment-sound linebacker who can help a defense by playing fast, finishing tackles, and bringing energy to special teams; the key question for a Wofford fit is whether his current snap-to-snap consistency and coverage range match your system's demands. I couldn't verify reliable, current public scouting or stat-leader data for a Wofford Terriers linebacker named Will Wheeler in the provided sources, so this should be treated as a cautious, fit-focused snapshot rather than a performance report.
