Marist lefty Connor Southwell brings strike-throwing polish and starter’s pedigree
Connor Southwell enters Marist with a proven high-school resume: as a senior at Suffern, he went 4-2 with a 1.24 ERA and 68 strikeouts in 45 innings, earned two-time all-league and all-section honors, and was named 2024 Suffern spring male athlete of the year.[1] The draw here is a left-handed arm with production, command, and competitive upside — traits that matter for a college staff looking for a pitcher who can attack hitters, not just survive innings.[1][2] If you want a developing starter who already knows how to miss bats and handle responsibility, he’s a solid fit.[1][2]
