Chene Phillips brings veteran guard production and two-way edge to Liberty
Phillips profiles as a dependable **6'2" guard** with a proven scoring and defensive resume, highlighted by strong career production at Wayne State, where he finished with a **13.3 points-per-game career scoring average** and was among the program’s better steal producers. His value is less about flash and more about reliability: a guard who can handle heavy minutes, defend, and make winning-impact plays. For a team like Liberty, that kind of steady, experienced backcourt presence is exactly the sort of fit coaches trust when they need toughness and composure.
