Ghassan Chehade brings size, steady production, and honor-roll consistency to UAlbany’s defensive front
In the 2024 season, UAlbany defensive lineman Ghassan Chehade played in 12 games and posted 14 tackles, including 1.0 sack, after recording 9 tackles and an interception in 2023. At 6-foot-5 and 266 pounds, he gives the Great Danes a long, sturdy interior piece with real versatility, and he’s also shown off-field consistency by earning CAA honor-roll recognition. Why care? He’s the kind of dependable, high-floor DL who can clog lanes, flash disruption, and fit a disciplined program without drama.
