Blake Jones brings veteran-size interior presence to Mercer’s defensive front
Blake Jones is a 6-foot, 292-pound defensive lineman whose profile points to a classic run-stuffing interior body with enough prep pedigree to suggest dependable, physical play; Mercer’s roster lists him as a freshman in the 2015 season, and his high-school notes mention two-sport athleticism and two-time all-city honors. With no current 2026 production available in the gathered sources, the best read is that Jones profiles as a sturdy depth piece or rotational DL fit: the kind of player who can help collapse space, hold the point, and make offenses work for every yard.
