Landon Scruggs is a high-upside, 6-foot-4 righty with swing-and-miss traits and late-inning utility for North Alabama
In the 2026 season, Scruggs has worked mostly out of the bullpen for North Alabama and also logged a save, showing he can handle leverage even while his results have been uneven. The appeal is the frame and role fit: a big-bodied right-hander who can close, bridge innings, and give a staff matchup flexibility. His 2026 line reflects some volatility, but he has also shown he can miss bats and survive in pressure spots. If a team wants size, arm strength, and a reliever with upside rather than a polished finished product, he’s worth a look.
