AJ Holmes gives Merrimack a fresh-arm look with upside
AJ Holmes is a freshman right-handed pitcher for Merrimack in the 2026 season, and the public record shows he’s already part of a staff that helped shut out Manhattan in a 14-0 win, with Holmes included among the arms credited in that team effort. He profiles as a local New Hampshire product from Bishop Guertin, which usually points to a pitcher who knows how to compete in the region and settle in quickly; beyond that, there isn’t enough reliable public stat detail yet to overclaim, so the intrigue is simple: developmental upside, roster flexibility, and a live arm worth tracking.
