Bryce Thompson gives Coppin State a veteran bat with pop and speed upside
In the 2025 season, Bryce Thompson hit .239 with 33 hits, 19 walks and 12 RBI, and he already flashed run-producing juice with a two-run homer against Le Moyne in April 2025. He’s a 6-foot-1, 200-pound senior outfielder from Upper Marlboro, Md., and the best fit takeaway is simple: he brings experience, contact ability, and enough pop to change an inning. The curveball here is his 2024-25 bounce-back from a rough 2024 season, which suggests resilience and adaptability—traits coaches love.
