DeShaun Lewis brings veteran DB value to Alcorn State’s secondary
DeShaun Lewis is listed by ESPN as an Alcorn State cornerback, and the clearest current signal is his long-running presence in the program’s football orbit, including being honored by Alcorn in 2023 as a standout defensive back[1][2]. That combination points to a seasoned, trusted back-end defender rather than a flashy stat-sheet hunter: the kind of DB coaches lean on for communication, discipline, and steadiness in coverage. If you want a secondary piece with program familiarity, physicality, and a proven Braves connection, Lewis looks like a fit; if you need a headline-grabbing turnover machine, the publicly available data here does not show that profile[1][2].
