Villanova’s steady QB depth piece: Michael Benincasa brings experience, polish, and reliability
Michael Benincasa is a senior quarterback at Villanova in the 2026 season who profiles as a smart, dependable depth option rather than a headline-grabbing stat machine. Villanova describes him as a “loyal performer” with a strong grasp of the offense, and he’s earned repeated academic honors while adding value in the QB room and on scout reps. At 6-foot-2, 215 pounds, he brings size and maturity; if you need a composed, system-savvy backup who knows where to be and how to operate, he fits that mold well.
