Logan Shepherd is Mercer’s run-producing infield bat with pop
Logan Shepherd entered Mercer with real juice: in the 2025 season at Tacoma CC, he hit .392 with 67 hits, 41 RBIs, 18 doubles, 6 home runs and 3 triples, then opened the 2026 season at Mercer as a preseason All-SoCon pick after arriving as the NWAC Position Player of the Year.[1][2] At Mercer in 2026, he’s shown middle-of-the-order impact — including a 3-for-4, 3-RBI, 2-double game and another 2-homer night — and his strength is clear: extra-base power, run production, and enough offensive presence to change a lineup’s shape.[3][4]
