Kenny Qualls brings ball-hawking safety instincts to Montana State
Kenny Qualls is a playmaking defensive back whose calling card is takeaway ability and opportunistic timing; a Montana State source noted his interception return for a touchdown, a classic “flip-the-game” trait that coaches love. He fits teams that value a safety who can read quarterbacks quickly, trigger downhill, and create momentum-changing plays, not just make clean-up tackles. The best fit? A defense that wants intensity, confidence, and a little swagger on the back end. If you want a steady, rangy presence who can turn coverage into points, Qualls is the kind of guy you notice fast.
