veteran South Carolina State guard with international experience and a steady two-way edge
Ester Udonsi brings seasoned backcourt value to South Carolina State, with a track record that includes playing guard for the Lady Bulldogs and earning a reputation as a reliable, team-first contributor. In the 2018-19 season, she was listed as a senior guard, and earlier conference stats show she could knock down shots at a strong clip for the era, including a .375 mark from the arc in MEAC play. Her biggest differentiators are maturity, versatility, and consistency — the kind of guard who fits teams needing composure, leadership, and a dependable floor presence.
