Historic flag-football star who brings elite athleticism to Alabama
Gerritt Griggs is best known as a high-impact, multi-sport playmaker from Central-Phenix City, where she earned MaxPreps’ inaugural Alabama Flag Football Player of the Year honor in 2025. That background points to the traits that matter most for Alabama softball: speed, competitiveness, versatility, and a high-intensity game that plays up in pressure moments. While the available results here don’t provide 2026 Alabama softball stats, her profile suggests a disruptive, athletic infielder who can fit a program valuing quick-twitch defense and winning traits more than empty numbers.
