From Standout LB Captain to Rising Star Linebackers Coach
Jamey Deckard, a former three-year captain and standout linebacker at Hanover College with career stats of 215 tackles (133 solo), 31.5 TFL, 9.5 sacks, and 11 PBUs, now brings his **linebacker-shaped drive** and passion to coaching—recently joining Lawrence Vikings as LB coach after starting at Hanover Panthers[1][2][6]. His maturity, intensity, and leadership make him a coach who instills focus and excellence; ideal for programs seeking a young, energetic mentor with proven player pedigree to develop tenacious defenses.
