Maxwell Sweet brings veteran Brown depth and gap-stuffing size on the defensive line
In the 2022 season, Maxwell Sweet appeared in all 10 games for Brown and posted five tackles; in the 2021 season, he added 12 tackles and two tackles for loss, which points to a steady, experienced interior defender rather than a flashy stat-chaser[1][2]. At 6-foot-3 and 280 pounds, he gives Brown a big-bodied DL presence, and his profile suggests value as a dependable rotational piece with toughness, strength, and durability—plus a backstory that includes a season lost to injury and a reputation as a hard-working, lift-loving teammate[1].
