Montrez Lang brings veteran, space-eating DL grit to Jacksonville State
Montrez Lang is a long-tenured defensive lineman for Jacksonville State whose appeal is less about flash and more about grown-man football: at 6-foot-1 and 290 pounds, he’s built to anchor the interior, absorb blocks, and help set the tone up front. His best differentiators are size, experience, and a blue-collar style that suggests reliability in run defense and line rotation depth. One note: the publicly available roster info shows historical listing details, so current season production isn’t clearly posted here—still, he profiles as the kind of sturdy, veteran piece coaches trust when they want toughness over highlight reels.
