Lonnie Alford Jr. is a depth-edge piece with untapped upside for Lamar
Lonnie Alford Jr. is listed as a defensive end for Lamar, but the public stat trail is thin: ESPN shows the player page while Lamar’s roster page lists no available career statistics, and FOX Sports has no game log data. That usually points to a low-volume contributor or a player whose impact is more about practice-field development than box-score pop. The appeal is the frame-and-role fit: an edge player who could grow into a disruptive piece if his motor, length, and hand usage keep trending up. Right now, he reads as a project with developmental upside rather than an instant-stat leader.
