Workhorse lefty with swing-and-miss upside, but 2025 was a bumpy ride
In the 2025 season for Wright State, Griffen Paige logged 39.1 innings with 44 strikeouts but also a 7.55 ERA, showing a starter’s stuff that can miss bats while still searching for consistency[1]. He’s a 6-foot-2 left-hander with a real starter’s profile and enough depth to hold a rotation spot, and his 2026 outings flashed stronger command in stretches, including a six-inning shutout start with seven Ks versus Northern Kentucky and a seven-inning, one-run win over Oakland[2][3]. The fit? Intriguing if your staff can sharpen his strike-throwing and harness the upside.
