Strikeout-heavy, two-way ace with Gators-caliber poise
Stevens arrives at Florida as a high-impact **RHP** who paired overpowering stuff with run production in high school, including a 20-strikeout playoff outing and a 6-0, 0.66 ERA stretch noted at Matanzas. She was also recognized as a 2024 All-State, All-Academic, and 5A Region 1 Player of the Year selection, which points to both competitive edge and consistency. What makes her interesting beyond the box score is the resilience angle: she overcame a serious health setback as a teen and still climbed to a major-college landing spot, suggesting toughness, focus, and upside for a staff that values competitive fire.
