Larry Brooks Jr. brings proven ball skills and starter-level experience to SFA’s secondary
Brooks has a track record of playing meaningful snaps and producing at Tulane, where in the 2021 season he appeared in all 12 games and posted 40 tackles; in 2020 he started 11 games and finished with 58 tackles, 3 interceptions, 3 pass breakups, 2 fumble recoveries and a forced fumble[3]. That production points to a DB who can handle volume, read routes, and create turnovers, with the kind of all-around defensive activity coaches like in a fit-and-finish secondary piece[3].
