Joshua Blue is a compact depth piece with walk-on grit for South Carolina
Joshua Blue profiles as a small, physical **walk-on tailback** at South Carolina, listed at 5-foot-7 and 167 pounds, valued more for depth, effort, and availability than headline stats. The Gamecocks roster notes him as a sophomore who joined in spring 2011, and available highlight tape from Marlboro County shows a true senior-year carry workload that suggests toughness and willingness to take contact. He is best viewed as a low-risk depth add rather than a featured back, with his main appeal being effort, roster familiarity, and insurance at a demanding position.[3][1]
