Proven Dayton leg with historical consistency as a specialist
Allen Waltz is a veteran Dayton specialist whose value comes from reliability and experience; in the 2019 season, he punted 20 times for 699 yards, a 34.95-yard average, and a long of 54 yards, showing he could handle real game workload. Dayton’s roster pages also show he spent multiple seasons as a kicker/punter, which usually means coaches trusted his versatility and poise under pressure. He’s the kind of player who helps a roster with stability and depth rather than flash.
