Josh Shaw brings two-way toughness and goal-line juice for Jacksonville State
In the 2024 season, Josh Shaw was a compact, physical weapon for SC State, logging 78 carries for 388 yards and 2 rushing scores, plus 16 carries for 72 yards and 3 touchdowns in 2024[15]. That kind of production hints at a player who runs with leverage, finishes plays, and can help in short-yardage or red-zone packages rather than just chasing pretty stats[15]. The catch: publicly available sources show little recent defensive production, so the appeal is more about his toughness, versatility, and trench-to-backfield edge than splashy box-score numbers[15].
