Zaena Harris brings compact frame, real value: gritty freshman arm for South Carolina State
In the 2026 season, freshman pitcher Zaena Harris has flashed useful midweek-and-conference depth for South Carolina State, including a complete-game win over Morgan State and a standout week that earned MEAC recognition[6]. She has also logged multiple wins for the Bulldogs and, at 5'2", stands out as a smaller right-hander who seems to compete with energy and poise rather than pure size[2][6]. The fit question is simple: if a team wants a resilient, developing pitcher with upside and a proven ability to keep working through lineups, Harris is worth a serious look[2][6].
