Alcorn State RB with Untapped Potential from HBCU Powerhouse
James Robinson, a dynamic running back for the Alcorn State Braves, stands out with his explosive elusiveness, stiff-arm prowess, and hurdle-finishing ability—traits that echo his NFL namesake's FCS dominance at Illinois State, where he amassed 4,444 rushing yards and 44 TDs over his career. At 5'9" and compactly built, his high-intensity motor and contact balance make him a chain-moving force ideal for teams needing a versatile, durable third-down back. No major injury flags; his gritty personality screams 'underdog winner'—perfect fit for programs seeking HBCU gems with pro upside. Why care? He's a sleeper ready to erupt in the SWAC.
