Small-Frame Guard, Big Academic Motor
Brandon Botley is a 5-foot-9 redshirt sophomore guard for St. Xavier (IL) who brings steady backcourt depth, strong academic habits, and efficient spot-duty shooting into the 2025-26 season. In 2024-25, he appeared in six games, scored six points, and went 2-for-2 from three while also handing out three assists in 17 minutes, hinting at a low-usage guard who can make clean, smart plays when called upon. He was also named to the CCAC All-Academic Team and earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors, a good sign for coachability, discipline, and reliability.
