Andy Davis brings veteran instincts and ball-hawking toughness to The Citadel’s linebacker room
Andy Davis has been a steady, physical defender for The Citadel, with 2020-21 production that included 52 tackles and three interceptions, plus 43 tackles in 2021 after eight starts. He also earned the team’s Military Captain honor in 2022, which says a lot about his leadership and toughness. The fit is clear: he profiles as a disciplined, high-effort linebacker who can diagnose plays, finish tackles, and create turnovers—exactly the kind of scrappy, dependable presence coaches love to plug into a defense.
