Cameron Sutton brings veteran coverage instincts, but his 2024 NFL form was uneven
Sutton is a veteran defensive back known for experience, ball skills, and versatility in coverage, but his most recent NFL season showed mixed results: PFF graded him at 53.5 in 2024, with 1 pass breakup, 0 interceptions, and a 107.0 passer rating allowed on 15 completions against him. His fit is best for teams that value a savvy, assignment-sound defender who can help in run support and handle multiple roles, though he is not currently profiling as a shutdown playmaker. He also carries recent off-field baggage, including an NFL suspension, which matters for team fit.[2][9][20]
