a proven disruptive edge presence for New Mexico
Jaymar Latchison has been a productive defensive end for New Mexico, with a career track record that includes a 2009 season showing 49 tackles and 2 sacks after a 2009 game stretch where he matched a career-high with 9 tackles and had 2.5 sacks through that point[1][3]. His profile suggests a physical, active front-seven player who flashes against both the run and the pass, which makes him more than just a stat-line guy[1][3]. He looks like a fit for a defense that wants effort, toughness, and a reliable edge setter, though the available public data here is dated rather than current-season fresh[1][3].
