Elite-90 academic standout, veteran Irish guard with strong intangibles
Nicole Benz is best known as a high-character Notre Dame guard whose value extends beyond box scores: she earned the Elite 90 Award, has been part of the program in a walk-on-to-contributor type role, and is recognized for balancing basketball with elite academics as a computer science major. Her on-court numbers have been modest, so the real appeal is reliability, culture fit, and competitiveness rather than high-volume scoring. She looks like a strong fit for a team that values intelligence, maturity, and glue-player qualities.
