ACC's Ex-Scoring King Powers Up 2025-26 with 18.5 PPG for Notre Dame
Markus Burton, Notre Dame's explosive guard, is thriving in 2025-26 with 18.5 PPG, 2.8 RPG, 3.7 APG on elite 48.9% FG—fresh off leading the ACC in scoring as a sophomore (23.5 PPG in league play) and setting freshman records (17.5 PPG, 577 points). His differentiators? Electric playmaking (career 1.8 SPG), clutch gene (back-to-back 15-5-5 games as frosh), and midrange mastery (44.6% 2PT), though junior year injuries tested resilience. Dynamic, high-IQ leader—perfect fit for any team needing a scoring sparkplug with Hoosier roots eyeing Indiana transfer buzz.
