Awni Alshafei brings veteran size and steady trench value to Savannah State
Awni Alshafei is a veteran offensive lineman for Savannah State who checks in at 6-foot-3, 295 pounds and has been listed on the Tigers’ roster through 2026, giving him the kind of experienced frame coaches love inside the line.[1][2][3] He has also shown leadership value beyond the box score, with Savannah State materials and his professional profile pointing to team-captain experience, which usually signals trust, toughness, and consistency in the room.[4][9] For a team needing a dependable interior blocker with maturity and a team-first reputation, he looks like a solid fit rather than a flashy stat-sheet star.[1][3][9]
