Experienced Duquesne DB with proven tackling range
Garrett Heron brings veteran experience and steady back-end reliability to Duquesne, and in the 2010 season he was listed as a senior cornerback from South Orange, N.J.[2][6] His profile shows a strong tackler for the position, with 41 tackles in one season and a career-high eight stops against Delaware, which points to a DB who plays with edge and doesn’t shy away from contact.[2] If a team wants a physical, assignment-sound defensive back who can handle run support and bring a mature presence, Heron fits that mold well.[2][6]
